It was produced and released by Star Cinema.[2][3][4] The film was released domestically on February 15, 2012. It is currently the highest grossing movie of 2012.
SYNOPSIS:
Macky Galvez (John Lloyd Cruz) is a depressed young man recovering from a failed relationship. One night, Galvez meets Ces Bricenio (Angel Locsin), a modern-day girl who is afraid of commitment, and they have a one-night stand. Later on, Macky meets Ces again in his new job as a reporter for Manila Bulletin.

Manfred and Flora are degenerate gamblers who can gamble on anything 24 hours a day seven days a week. Though they have come across each other a few times at the casino, they have not left any lasting impression upon each other.
On that fateful day when both of them lost their jobs and abandoned by their lovers, they went to gamble at the casinos in Macau. Coincidentally, they both suffered heavy losses and were held hostage by the loan sharks. It was then they fell in love with each other. When they finally secure their freedom, they return to Hong Kong and live together.
While they started living together, their luck turns. They keep on winning until Flora is pregnant; they then decide to get married. However, before the wedding banquet is held, both of them cannot shake off their gambling addiction and lose their whole fortune. Their parents have to pay for their wedding finally.
With the birth of their daughter “Lucky”, Manfred and Flora consider quitting their gambling habits, but all their efforts were in vain. Instead they are debt ridden to such an extent they decide to end their lives. They buy a Mark Six ticket with their last ten dollars, and like a miracle, they win the first prize totalling over $100 million. However, they decide to split the money and have a divorce after all.

"Flying Swords of Dragon Gate” picks up three years after the infamous Dragon Inn was burnt down in the desert when its innkeeper JADE vanished. The inn is the rumored location of a lost city buried under the desert, and its hidden treasure would only be revealed by a gigantic storm every sixty years. The gang used the inn as a front to locate the lost treasure. The storm is arriving. But the situation becomes more complicated when a pregnant concubine who escaped from the palace came to the inn. The concubine was saved by a mysterious woman WEN, and the two fled to the Dragon Inn in hiding. Hot on their trail were the Imperial Assassins led by the powerful eunuch YU, followed by the righteous general ZHAO who was determined to take down Yu to restore order in the palace. This proves to be difficult when his martial arts school and local militia become involved in fierce battles with foreign and local government. As violence escalates even Aunt Yee has to question her new western ideals, but is it possible to fight guns with Kung Fu?

Also, they meet up with Aunt May (Jean Wong), who subs for Aunt Yee (the missing Rosamund Kwan) as the love interest/scenery. Then someone looks at someone else incorrectly and fighting ensues.
